Men's doubles: Michele Cappelletti and Luca Carli (ITA)

Women's doubles: Joana Cortez and Rafaella Adriana Miiller (BRA)

History was made at these Championships with the crowning of the first ever non-Italian champions in either the men's or women's main events with the victory of Cortez and Miiller.

Players found to have entered more than one junior event will be removed from all but the lowest entered age category. Any player competing in the Pro event at the time of the applicable junior sign in may be removed from the junior draw.

Tournament Preview

Following the success of the 2015 ITF Beach Tennis World Championships, the championships will return to Cervia in 2016.

2016 will see an increase to the centre court capacity and the return of both live streaming and scoring.

This year will feature junior events to be held in three age categories - 14&U, 16&U and 18&U as part of Beach Tennis’ commitment to developing the game at grassroots level.

The Beach Tennis Tour’s flagship individual event will take place at the Bagno Delfino on Italy’s East coast on 2-7 August, with the qualifying event taking place over the first two days before the main draw begins on 4 August.
